Charting the Wagner Group Command Structure
Over nearly a decade, the Wagner Group evolved from a few dozen special forces veterans into a massive paramilitary organization. Based on internal company documents, this interactive visualizes Wagner’s full paramilitary command structure as it existed in September 2021, a few months before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
